24. While President of Amway, Tricky Dick invested over $200 million in China.
The Detroit News published a letter from the former Amway President himself. In the letter, Dick DeVos said his company invested $200 million in China. (Dick DeVos, Detroit News, May 17, 2006) Remember yesterday's #25? Dick cut over 1,400 Michigan jobs and then sent them and all that money out of Michigan on the not-so-slow boat to China. Thanks Dick!

24. Governor Granholm has created over 7,100 new jobs in Michigan with her Local Jobs Today Initiative. The Local Jobs Today plan will provide loans and grants to cities, counties, and local transit agencies to allow them to take advantage of available federal transportation funding and create more than 7,100 new jobs in 2006 and 2007.
